SKK Race Format 2010

  There will be a nine race “Points Championship”

**Race Format-

Drivers Meeting Are Mandatory, and about start 30 minutes prior to racing- Please be on time!

** Day Race practice starts at 9:30 A.M.(5-7 minutes)

** Heat #1 (12-15 laps) Grid by qualifying time

** Heat #2 (12-15 laps) Invert 1/2 of the field of Heat #1

** Main (15-20 laps) Grid by qualifying, heat 1 & heat 2  IKF point system

 Important Notes

*We have a two tire over the white line rule in effect on the last turn coming to the finish line. If you get all 4 tires over the line you will be put back 3 position.

*Tech Area - the driver & mechanic ONLY! are allowed in this area.

*No special track access will be given to any driver at any time during a race day.

 Any problems should be brought to the attention of the race director!!!

 ** Points will be configured using the same protocol as IKF scoring

**Day Races- Registration begins at 7:45 A.M. and ends promptly at 8:45 A.M. Please do not be late or wait until the last minute to register. You will be placed at the back of the class for BOTH heat races if you are not signed in by 8:45 A.M.

** Night Races- Registration is from 5:00-6:30 P.M. Racing starts at 7:00 P.M. Please do not be late or wait until the last minute to register. You will be placed at the back of the class for BOTH heat races if you are not signed in by 6:30 PM.

** Race Fees are $20.00 per Kid Kart entry for both Day & Night Races. Fees for all other classes are $35.00 per participant for the 1st class and $25.00 for each additional class.

** All Racers  pay $35.00 for first entrant, and $25.00 for each additional racer per class. There is NOT an entry fee reduction based on multiple family members.

** Junior Racers will pay an entry of $35.00 for the first class, and $25.00 for each additional class they participate in for that race day.

** Adult Racers will pay an entry of $35.00 for the first class, and $25.00 for each additional class they participate in for that race day.

** Night Races are $45.00 per entrant. Night racers receive a rebate based on the cost of the practice pass if they purchased a practice pass for that same day prior to the race.

** Spectators are $5.00 unless they stay in the free spectator area.

** All Classes will be decided prior to each race start-up, and will NOT be altered on that day.
